Addison Pratt was returning from the Pacific Islands.

He replaced Noah Rogers in running the mission when Rogers left for the United States.
He was joined by his wife, Louisa Barnes Pratt, and their four daughters in October 1850.
Called but not able to serve another missin in the South Pacific because the French protectorate government at Tahiti all but banned him from preaching (Saints, Volume 2, pg. 276)
