Adolf William Nelson

This family came to Utah sometime between 1868 and 1870. They sailed to America in 1868 on the ship John Bright, but the first documentation to place them in Utah is the birth of a child in July 1870. Further research is needed to determine the year they came to Utah and the name of the company they traveled with.

The inscription on his gravestone shows his name as "Adolf Wm Nelson," and it confirms the years of his birth and death.

In some sources, his given name is shown as "Adolph."
