Agnes Adeline Murray
Agnes and two children (John T. and Agnes) crossed the Atlantic on the ship John J. Boyd in 1863. They probably continued on to Utah this same year because her Perpetual Emigrating Fund account is dated 15 October 1863. She married James Mathew Given in Utah and appears with her new husband in the 1870 federal census as Agnes "Givin" with a three year old daughter named Elizabeth "Givin" as well as John "Mckashnie" (age 12) and Agnes "Mckashnie" (age 8). A "secondary source" indicates that Agnes' first husband (John Mckechnie) preceded her to Utah but at present "primary source" documentation that proves this is lacking. Additional research is needed.
