Alfred Yates
Alfred arrived in New York with his family on 19 July 1863 via the ship Cynosure. PEF records indicate that they arrived in the Valley the same year. Further research is needed to identify the name of the company they traveled with.
A few years later, Alfred again crossed the plains, this time working as a teamster for Daniel Thompson's out-and-back company in 1866.
