Almon Whiting Babbitt, Jr.
Initially traveled to Utah with his family in 1851. His brother, Don Carlos, was a teamster in 1860. It appears he traveled with him and they traveled with their aunt, Eliza Saunders Johnson. He was a teamster in 1868.
His death certificate shows his name as "A. W. Babbitt." His birth date is shown as 25 January 1846, but the inscription on his gravestone in Arizona shows the date as 25 January 1847.
