Alonzo Arthur Noon

Alonzo came from South Africa with his brother Adolphus and his wife Emma in 1865 on the ship Mexicana, and their surname is shown as "Noon."

His christening record shows his surname as "Whitaker," which was his father's surname.  However, the ship record shows his surname as "Noon," and his death certificate and the inscription on his gravestone also show his surname as "Noon."

He married Annie Jane Smith in Nebraska in 1864.
