Amanda Wilhemina Petersen

Emigrated with her family from Sweden. They traveled across the ocean on the ship Monarch of the Sea. The Petersen family continued their journey to Utah by crossing the plains with the Canfield company. Amanda married John A. Grant and is found living in his household in Utah on the 1900 census. The 1900 census also listed her birth as "June 1859," while her grave marker simply records "1858" as her year of birth.
