Amelia Andrew Angier
Amelia was a daughter of Samuel and Margaret Read Angier. Both of her parents died when she was only five years old so she went to live with her married sister, Margaret Peck wife of Harrison Peck. At the time of the 1850 federal census they were living in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. A secondary source says that Amelia crossed the plains to Utah with a Tidwell Company in 1853, however, the Thdwell company actually traveled in 1852. In the 1856 Utah Territorial census Amelia and the Pecks were in the Salt Lake City 9th ward. Amelia was rebaptized 13 March 1857 and married Willis Coplan in 1859.
