Amelia Leicht
Amelia was born in England. She was the daughter of George Leicht (a widower) and Mary Ann Hunt Miles. Amelia's father died in England so her widowed mother with her children and step-children embarked for America aboard the ship General McClellen in 1864. Amelia's mother married John Cornwall during the voyage (see the 19 June 1864 letter of Thomas Evans Jeremy found on the Mormon Migration website) so on the original roster of the William S. Warren Company and the 1870 Utah census Amelia is listed under the surname Cornwall.
