Amos Williams

Amos' family lived in the Plumb Hollow Iowa Branch from 1850 to 1852.  At the time of the 1856 Utah census they were living in Provo, Utah.  Although his father's obituary says they traveled to Utah in 1852 this is almost certainly incorrect because Amos was born at Council Bluffs, Iowa in December 1852 and a little sister was born in Utah in March 1854.  Additional research is needed to identify the name of the pioneer company with which his family crossed the plains.
