Ane crossed the Atlantic on the ship Humboldt in 1862 with her widowed daughter Christine Sophie Hansen Schmidt and her children.  On the Deseret News roster of the Murdock Company she is Anne "Hans."   "Sophie" married Frands Christian Christensen on the ship.
