Ann Belle Campkin
Circumstantial evidence from census and genealogical records proves the Campkin family traveled to Utah in 1850. The death of one child (Mary) in St. Louis after the departure of all Utah-bound emigrant companies in 1849 and the birth of another child (Elizabeth) in Utah in late 1850 proves that the Campkin family could only have traveled to Utah in 1850.
The family sailed to America in 1844 on the ship Norfolk. The ship manifest lists their surname as "Compkin." Their surname is shown as "Camkin" on the 1850 Utah census.
She was baptized in Salt Lake City 20 May 1852. The Salt Lake Record of Members" lists her name as "N. Campkin."
The Utah State History Cemeteries and Burials Database lists her name as "Anne Belle Campkin," but the inscription on her gravestone shows her as "Ann Campkin Fuller."
Her name is listed as "Ann Camkin" on the 1850 Utah census.
