Her name appears on a non-contemporary typescript list in Journal History listing her in the Young company. There is no primary documentation to support this conclusion. The best evidence to place her in a company is the mention of her husband's name in Heber C. Kimball's journal (20 September entry). Her surname is spelled "Royal" in some sources.
