Ann Dewhurst
Ann came to Utah between 1854 and 1856 with her mother, Elizabeth, and her sisters, Elizabeth and Esther. They likely came in 1854, the year they sailed to America, but the first documentation to place them in Utah is ordinance work performed for Esther in the Centerville Ward on 29 September 1856. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel and identify the name of the company they traveled with.
The family emigrated from England on the ship Windermere. Their father, James, died on the Missouri River, prior to reaching Council Bluffs. She later married Gillispie W. Waldron.
Death date is confirmed by the death certificate.
