Ann Jackson

Ann and her daughter Angelina sailed to America in 1854 on the ship Windermere.  The ship manifest shows their surname as "Hallewell."  Ann was a widow, her husband John Halliwell died in England in 1852. 

Emigration and genealogical records prove that Ann and Angelina arrived in Utah between 1854 and 1856.  The first documentation to place Ann in Utah is her marriage to Zimmeriah Harford Baxter on 6 December 1856,  Further research is needed to determine the year of their arrival and the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled to Utah.
