Ann Maria and her mother Eliza came to Utah between 1856 and 1861. She likely came in 1856, the year she sailed to America. But the first documentation to place her in Utah are church ordinances performed for her mother in May 1862 which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to narrow the year of her travel.
In the 1856 Columbia manifest her name is Maria T. Bailey.
