Ann Melsome Hughes

The Personal History of James Hancock, written by his grandson, states that the family came to Utah with the 1852 Abraham O. Smoot Company.  

Her birth date is confirmed by the inscription in the Henry Wallace Hughes family Bible, and her birth year is also confirmed by the Bisley Parish records.

Ann was rebaptized in Salt Lake City before 16 October 1852.
