Ann Wanlass
Ann's name does not appear on the 1850 Utah census, so it is likely that she arrived in Utah between 1851 and 1857. She married William Dawson in Utah on 11 February 1858, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to determine the year of her arrival and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled to Utah.
The 1850 Missouri Census shows her living with Sarah Kavenaugh.
Ann married John Fotheringham on 4 April 1868. The Find a Grave website index shows her name as "Ann Russell Wanless Fotheringham," but there is no photograph of her gravestone, and this is the only source we have found which lists "Russell" as a possible maiden or middle name. Her mother's maiden name was "Russell."
