The family came on the John J. Boyd in 1855. It consisted of Jens, the father, Ane Catrine, the mother and a child they were to look after, Nicoline Marie Bertelsen. They also went by the name of Mikkelsen.
Wife of Jens Mickelsen. Died en route in Echo Canyon, as indicated by obituary of her daughter, Mary A. Mickelsen Lang.
