Anna Sophia Peterson

She arrived in New York on 16 July 1866 via the ship Keniworth. Ship rosters seem to indicate she may have been traveling with a Johannes and Anne Peterson. However, a history written by her daughter, when Anna Sophia was still living, indicates that she crossed the plains to the Valley, arriving on 29 September 1866. This date coincides with the arrival of the Nebeker company. Her friends, the Johannes and Anne Peterson family are documented in the Scott company that same year. Further research is needed to identify the company with which she traveled.
