Anne Mette Christensen
Company and emigration records erroneously show a surname of "Kok." This is the Danish word for chef or cook. Jorgen was a baker. There was likely some confusion with the clerks when transcribing foreign language data.
She came on the ship, Monarch of the Sea in 1861 with her husband, Jorgen, and children: Ane Mette, Niels, and Michael.
Her travel to Utah in 1861 is confirmed by the article in The Journal.
