Served as Mission Secretary for over a year and for a short time also served as President of the Los Angeles Conference (Calimis 4:3). April, 1921 President McMurrin announced at the California Mission reunion in Salt Lake City that President Vern Weight and Secretary Arlie Campbell of the mission would continue in office over another year (Calimis 8:3).
