Asenath Eleanor Lufkin
Some sources spell her given name "Aceneth". A few members of her Lufkin relatives crossed the plains in the James C. Snow Company of 1852; but in a letter dated March 8th of that year she wrote: "I dont think I shall be ready to go with you this spring but dont wait one moment for me for I shall go between now and winter to Iowa. . . ."
She traveled with this company and her husband, Hilliard Taylor.
