Benjamin Kirkham

There are varying accounts and suppositions about the Kirkham family traveling to Utah in 1868. There is a John Kirkham in the 1868 Loveland company. This may or may not be this Kirkham family, but the evidence is not sufficient to say with any certainty as they could not be found in the 1870 census. They traveled to America in 1850 on the ship North Atlantic. The earliest evidence found showing their presence in Utah is an 1869 church ordinance so we know they were here by 1869.
