Bertha Knudsen

Daughter of Hans and Bergetta Knudsen. She traveled with her family. Bertha crossed the ocean by way of the ship Monarch of the Sea and continued her westward journey as part of the John Smith company.In 1870, she lived in Utah in the household of her father, along with her mother and siblings. Her married surname, as recorded on her death certificate, was "Madsen."
