Bodil Christine Jensen Bosen

Evidence from emigration, genealogical and church ordinance records proves that the Bosen family traveled to Utah in 1863. They sailed to America under the surname of "Jensen," and then assumed their surname of "Bosen" after their arrival. Documentation which places them in Utah is the marriage of Bodil in September 1863 and the death of Karen in December 1863. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company they traveled with.Her name on her death certificate is listed as "Bodel Christena Bosen."
