Calvin David Pendleton
Son of Calvin Pendleton. He traveled across the plains with his father, stepmother, and siblings. The Pendleton family was located in Pottawattamie in 1850, according to census records. In 1860 census records, they were listed as living together in Utah.
Calvin initially traveled to Utah with his family in the Robert Wimmer Company. However, several years later, he again crossed the plains as an out-and-back teamster with the McArthur Company in 1868. While working as a teamster in the Daniel D. McArthur (1868) Company, Calvin met his wife Mary Gittins.
His birth and death dates are confirmed by his gravestone.
