Caroline Olsdotter Jenson

Evidence from emigration, newspaper and genealogical records proves that the Jenson family traveled to Utah in 1864. They sailed to America in April, but the first documentation to place them in Utah is Neil's death in October 1864. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company they traveled with.Her name is listed as "Karna NIelson" on the 1864 Monarch of the Sea ship manifest.Her death certificate lists her name as Caroline Jenson. Other sources show her given name as "Karna."
