Caroline Sophia Freeman
Caroline may have been in the Milo Andrus Company of 1850. She appears with two children from her first marriage (Helen Mar Cutler, age 13, and Parley Pratt Cutler, age 5.) in the 1850 Utah census (which was taken early in 1851) as Caroline Van Valkenberg (she had married Peter Van Valkenberg on 17 October 1850 as a plural wife.) She was re-baptized on 28 October 1850 (in the re-baptism record she is Carol or Carole Vanvalkenbury or Vanvalkenburg in the Salt Lake Stake record of members; see also Early Church Information File). Additional research is needed to verify the name of the pioneer company with which she crossed the plains.
