Carrie Marie Jorgensen

On the 1855 manifest of the ship James Nesmith she is listed as Karen M. Bertel Jorgensen; the ship arrived at New Otleans on 23 February 1855. Her mother married Lars Jensen at Salt Lake City in 1858. In the Utah census taken 2 July 1860 she is listed as Mary Jansen. Additional research is needed to identify the year she crossed the plains and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.
