We know that Rasmus and Catharine arrived in Utah by 1854 because they were divorced on 17 November 1854 in Salt Lake City.
The Denmark Marriages record gives the following information: Rasmus Andersen and Catharine Marie Mariager, married 16 June 1843 in Vor Freisers, Copehagen, Denmark. Rasmus was born about 1813, age 30. Catharine, born about 1816, was 27 years old.
Apparently, they had a son, Afdod, born in Denmark in 1844.
Further research is needed to determine their identity, the year of their arrival in Utah and the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.
