Charles E. Taylor

Charles traveled to the Salt Lake Valley in 1850 with his parents, Charles Barber and Mary Edwards and step-sister, Elizabeth Edwards Cannon.

There is a discrepancy regarding the year of his birth.  FamilySearch shows it as 1 December 1849.  The 1910 and 1920 Idaho census gives his birth year as 1849.  The 1900 Idaho census and the 1860 and 1870 Utah census show 1849.  The inscription on his gravestone shows 1848, as does the extracted information from his obituary which appears on the Memories page of his FamilySearch information.
