Charles Sturgess
Pioneer Photographers of the Far West states that Charles was in New York in January 1858, traveled to St. Louis in 1859 and on to Salt Lake City with his wife the same year. His travel to Utah in 1859 is confirmed by his obituary. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company with which they traveled to Utah.
