Christian Olsen Hansen
Evidence from emigration and genealogical records proves that Christian traveled to Utah in 1861 on the ship, Monarch of the sea. The first documentation to place him in Utah is his marriage in March 1862, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. He came with his brother, Hans. his sister in law, Martha.
On both the ship passenger lists and the Journal History Overland company roster, he and his brother are listed with the surname of Ohlsen or Olsen.
