Christiane Sorensen Steffensen

There is some confusion regarding the names in this family. They are on the ship in 1867 as "Steffensen" but a different spelling "Stephensen" is sometimes used. This daughter is sealed to her husband in the Endowment House March 1868, evidence that they came in 1867. Her surname is sometimes listed as "Bredesen" or "Sorensen" Some records list her as the daughter of Soren Christen Bredesen and Karen Nielsen and the foster daughter of Mads Stephensen and Kirsten Jensen. She died with the married name of Coons.
