Christopher Lorenzo Long (Lawn)
Son of John Henry and Eunice Corinthia Twitchell Long (Lawn). On the original roster of the Heber C. Kimball Company Christopher, his mother and his brothers, are listed with the surname "Long." Later in life the boys went by the name "Lawn" because that is the name their father used during his service in the Mexican War. In the 1850 California census Christopher is in Sacramento, California in the household of William H. Hoyt under the name Lorenzo Beckwith. (Eunice had re-married.)
