Clarissa's name appears on the 1856 Utah census which was taken in February 1856, Salt Lake City Mill Creek Ward. Her name does not appear on the 1850 Utah census, so it is likely that she came to Utah between 1851 and 1855. No other documentation has been located regarding her life in Utah. Further research is needed to determine the year she arrived and the name of the pioneer company she traveled to Utah with.
