Served as the mission's superintendent of M.I.A and Sunday School. Traveled extensively visiting churches and holding conventions in Northern California during February, 1921(Calimis 3:1). As M.I.A. superintendent, he directed a traveling group of missionaries to do concerts in April, 1921in the major cities of Arizona (Calimis 7:7). April 15, 1921-Sunday School Superintendent Elder Claude C. Cornwall and Los Angeles Conference President Elder Axel A. Madsen reorganized Bakersfield's Sunday School (Calimis 8:1). Announced May 22, 1921 That Elder Cornwall is to attend General Conference in Salt Lake City in time to prepare and produce his playlet 'The Camel;m which had such a successful tour around the state of Arizona. This is to be considered a fine compliment to Elder Cornwall as a playwright and author (Calimis 10:1).
