David Evans
The Evans family sailed to America in 1861 on the ship Manchester. A secondary source states that Phebe Reese Evans came to Utah in 1861 with the Peter Ranck pioneer company, but a primary source is needed to confirm this information. There is no company roster for the Ranck company.
The inscription on David's gravestone confirms his death date, but gives his birth date as 1 April 1808.
