Susanna and her children sailed to America in 1868 on the ship Colorado and Susanna's obituary confirms their travel to Utah in 1868.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.

 

The inscription on his gravestone in Canada confirms the years of his birth and death.
