David Tarvel Drown
Evidence from newspaper records proves that the Drown family traveled to Utah in 1849. A secondary source states that they came with the 1849 Ezra T. Benson Company, but further research is needed to confirm the name of the company they traveled with.
His obituary in the Deseret News states that he came to Utah in 1849 with his father, stepmother and half-sister.
