
Ebenezer Farnes
He sailed to America in 1862 on the ship William Tapscott.
Ebenezer traveled alone, part of his family having preceded him and part were to follow the next year. A year after arriving, he was asked to take a single wagon team back east along the trail meeting westward companies and giving them extra provisions as needed. Though he did not join any particular company, he met and interacted with many companies on his round trip, one of which was the the Rosel Hyde Company.
