Edward Trimmer, Sr.
The Trimmer family arrived in New Orleans in November 1844 on the ship Norfolk. They stayed in Iowa, then Missouri for a time. One daughter, Elizabeth, went ahead to the Valley in 1849. The rest of them followed her together in 1851. Edward Sr. served as Captain of the Herd.
Birth date confirmed by the West Jordan Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 29 April 1852.
