
Edwin Ford
Edwin was born at Tepton, Staffordshire, England. His obituary indicates that his family traveled in a company led by Lorenzo Snow in 1848. Lorenzo Snow was a captain of One Hundred in Brigham Young's 1848 company. Edwin was re-baptized 3 June 1849 at Salt Lake City and received a Patriarchal Blessing from John Smith in Davis County. At the time of the 1856 Territorial Census Edwin was living in Salt Lake City and paid tithing in the 9th Ward. In 1866 he paid tithing in Washington, Utah. He served in Utah's Black Hawk War. He died at Kanab.
