Edwin Smith

Edwin and his sister, Elizabeth, arrived in New York on 18 July 1863 via the ship Amazon.

Birth date confirmed by Richmond Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 27 August 1865. PEF records indicate that Edwin was traveling with an Elizabeth Smith. This was most likely his sister. Further research is needed to identify which overland company they traveled with.
