Daughter of John Varah Long and Eleanor Oates. The family crossed the Atlantic on the ship Winderemere in 1854.  In Utah she married (first) William Read; (second) Charles B. Sykes.  Utah Death Registers lists her as E. O. Sykes.  On the Find A Grave website she is Eleanor O. Long Sykes.
