
Elijah Averett
He was the twin brother of Elisha Averett. According to a secondary source he drove an ox team to the Salt Lake Valley for Mary Ann Angell Young in 1848, returned to Council Bluffs for his own family and with them re-crossed the plains in 1850. In the 1850 Census of Utah he is listed as "Eliza Everett." He was rebaptized at Manti 12 January 1851. In the 1856 Utah Territorial census he is Elijah Averett of Sanpete County.
