Latter-day Saint Biographical Encylopedia- December, 1850 he was called on a mission to Iron county as one of Geo. A. Smith's company of pioneers to that part of the country. He became one of the first settlers of Parowan. He remained on that mission about six months, then returned to Salt Lake City.
