Elisha Wheat Van Etten
Elisha's birth and death dates are found in his Find A Grave memorial. He married Abigail Jane Daley Andrus on 26 July 1850 and was re-baptized 19 February 1851 at Salt Lake City. On 27 June 1851 his name first appears in the records of the Utah Territorial Militia at Salt Lake. He sold some property in Salt Lake on 21 Sep. 1852. He was living in the Salt Lake 19th Ward at the time of the 1856 Territorial Census, paid taxes there in 1859, and was still there at the time of the 1860 federal census where he identified as a trader. In 1870 he was a farmer living in Bingham Canyon, Utah. He moved to Iowa in 1875 where he died and is buried.
