Eliza Hannah Simmons
Her father's obituary indicates that he traveled to Utah in 1852, arriving on 26 September. It is assumed that his family was traveling with him. There is conflicting information in Pioneers and Prominent Men, which indicates he traveled to the Valley in 1847. It is possible he did make a trip in 1847 and returned to the East to collect his family. Further research is necessary.
